New Maple Stock Arrives in the UK

Tamata’s 2013 export of Acer Palmatum (Japanese maples) arrived this week in the United Kingdom and has been delivered to their nursery site at Bernhard’s Nurseries in Rugby. A total of 170 trees comprising 15 different varieties made the six week voyage from New Zealand. 2012 Export Settles in to New Home

The 2012 exported trees have been in their new home in the UK for a couple of months now; so how are they settling in? As you will recall, the trees were taken to Tendercare, our distributor in Beaconsfield. 2012 Export Arrives in UK

The 2012 export of maple trees to the UK has arrived safely. The trees left from Tauranga in mid-May and took the six week voyage across the Pacific through the Panama Canal and across the Atlantic to finally arrive at Tilbury Docks in London. This years export consisted of 315 trees made up of 20 different varieties, including Bloodgood, Butterfly, Crimson Queen, Palmatifidum, Tamuke yama and Viridis.
